š¼ Career & Work
Whatās been your biggest āpinch meā moment in your career so far?
Itās hard to pinpoint just one moment – itās really the journey of how far Iāve come. From where I started to where I am now, Iāve grown not only in skills but in understanding myself and others. Iāve learned how businesses operate as a whole, gained cross-functional experience across marketing, operations and finance, and developed a strong sense of self-awareness. Looking back, itās incredible to see how much Iāve evolved and how those experiences shape the way I approach work – and life.
What made you want to work in advertising?
Iāve always had a blend of creative interest and analytical thinking, which led me to study BCom Marketing and digital courses. Working across finance and marketing showed me that I naturally think in both ways – and advertising is one of the few sectors where that mix genuinely works.
Best piece of advice?
Be intentional with what you give your time and energy to. And if something stops feeling aligned, itās not a setback – itās self-awareness showing you where youāre meant to grow next.
If you could swap roles with anyone at Hunterlodge for a dayā¦
Since Iām still new, Iām learning how everyone fits into the bigger picture – but if I could swap for a day, Iād choose someone in the creative team. Iād love to see how an idea becomes a full campaign.
